A Fresh Approach

Today’s businesses recognize the true value behind training. Whether you work for McDonald’s (who have a well-known training program and were recently nominated as one of the 50 Best Employers in Canada for 2010), or a smaller company like ours, training is essential to employee and company growth.

Not only is internal training and professional development a must for organizations (no matter their size), but businesses are also starting to understand the value of offering training for their own products. As a product provider, it’s important to ensure your clients fully realize the value of their purchase and see the benefits to maximizing its use, be it a boost in organizational efficiency, a reduction in staff time and costs, or otherwise.

Additionally, a forward-thinking company will work with clients to continually improve and better their product. Our CoreSolutions training team, Rebecca Ingram and Ron Grigg, recently took time to re-jig some of the PD Place™ training we offer to ensure we do just this.

Productivity is key for any employee; when someone doesn’t capitalize on the tools provided to them to perform their job, they won’t be as productive as they could be. As there are more than 300 preferences available in PD Place, Rebecca and Ron created a training module that’s specifically focused on Preferences, to give our clients the knowledge they need to be efficient in their positions and get the most out of the software program.

So, what do you think makes for a good training program? Let us know your suggestions in the comments. Your feedback is what helps us take a fresh approach to our software and training!
